Jas a grandi dans une famille d’artistes. Il a commencé très jeune à expérimenter divers médiums pour créer. Il a ensuite poursuivi ses études en arts au cégep et il a continué à l’université en allant 1 an à Paris pour approfondir la peinture et trouver son propre style d’expression. Depuis, il a fait plus de 30 expositions solo et de groupe en Europe, au Canada et aux USA. Il se démarque par ses œuvres abstraites généralement épurées de couleurs, de transparences de couches de peinture, de diverses textures, parfois de mots ou de collages et de mouvements forts qui viennent ébranler certains sentiments en nous souvent nostalgiques. Il y a aussi la série de femmes en méditation de dos dessinées au fusain et mélangées à ce monde abstrait, ainsi que la série des visages inspirés des photos vues sur les réseaux sociaux mélangés à l'abstrait.
